Oliver was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at Houston University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Oliver is 39, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Houston University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
