Sarah was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in June. The oncology team at the Berlin Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Sarah is 25, worked as a shop owner until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Berlin Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $6,450 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,500 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $540 • Transport to the Berlin Oncology Institute: $410 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Finn

  • Hope it all works out, Finn. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless.
