Fighting multiple myeloma: help Rashid afford treatment in Giza
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Giza Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Rashid was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August. The oncology team at Giza Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Rashid is 42, worked as a farmer until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Giza Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $870
• Transport to Giza Cancer Centre: $145
• Scans and lab work: $115
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $70
