Tithi was diagnosed with kidney cancer in July. The oncology team at Jessore University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Tithi is 32, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jessore University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
