Rashid was diagnosed with kidney cancer in April. The oncology team at the Quetta Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Rashid is 26, worked as a shop owner until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Quetta Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
