Omar was diagnosed with kidney cancer in July. The oncology team at Heliopolis University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Omar is 57, worked as a taxi driver until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Heliopolis University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,350 goes: • Scans and lab work: $150 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85 • Household costs while unable to work: $230 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $885 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • Praying for you, Osama. Hope the doctors have good news!

    • You're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Cầu Giấy

              • Hope things get better soon. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Ribeirão Preto.
