Fighting kidney cancer: help Nilesh afford treatment in Kochi

Nilesh was diagnosed with kidney cancer in October. The oncology team at the Kochi Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Nilesh is 50, worked as a primary school teacher until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Kochi Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $920
• Scans and lab work: $260
• Household costs while unable to work: $240
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $80
