Fighting kidney cancer: help Ama afford treatment in Tamale

Ama was diagnosed with kidney cancer in April. The oncology team at Tamale Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Ama is 43, worked as a construction supervisor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tamale Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
