Fighting Hodgkin lymphoma: help Princess afford treatment in Manila

Princess is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Manila
Princess was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Manila University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Princess is 57, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Manila University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,750 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,050 • Scans and lab work: $180 • Transport to Manila University Hospital: $190 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90 • Household costs while unable to work: $240 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
