Fighting Hodgkin lymphoma: help Edward afford treatment in Accra
Edward is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Edward was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in March. The oncology team at Accra Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Edward is 40, worked as a tailor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Accra Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $900 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $120
• Scans and lab work: $250
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $425
