Fighting Hodgkin lymphoma: help Deniz afford treatment in Munich
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Munich University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Deniz was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Munich University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Deniz is 35, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Munich University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $8,050 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $690
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,500
• Transport to Munich University Hospital: $860

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team comes first ($690) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
