Sathish was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in November. The oncology team at Mumbai Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Sathish is 28, worked as a bakery worker until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mumbai Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $700 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85 • Transport to Mumbai Cancer Centre: $145 • Household costs while unable to work: $320 • Scans and lab work: $150 If you're reading this, thank you.
