Fighting early-stage lung cancer: help Qasim afford treatment in Cairo

Qasim was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in June. The oncology team at Cairo Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Qasim is 41, worked as a bus conductor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Cairo Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
