Yokohama
Shun was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at the Yokohama Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Shun is 27, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Yokohama Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $7,600 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,100 • Scans and lab work: $750 • Transport to the Yokohama Oncology Institute: $760 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $480 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,510 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
