Fighting colon cancer: help Letícia afford treatment in Campinas
Letícia is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Letícia was diagnosed with colon cancer in April. The oncology team at Campinas University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Letícia is 40, worked as a shop owner until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Campinas University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,700
• Scans and lab work: $350
• Transport to Campinas University Hospital: $270
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $210
• Household costs while unable to work: $370
