Fighting colon cancer: help Andreas afford treatment in Munich
Andreas is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Andreas was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at the Munich Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Andreas is 54, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Munich Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to the Munich Oncology Institute: $470
• Household costs while unable to work: $720
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,750
• Scans and lab work: $1,260
