Fighting cervical cancer: help Faith afford treatment in Kasarani
Supporting Faith through cervical cancer: medication, transport to Kasarani University Hospital, and living costs while She can't work.
🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya926 views
Faith was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at Kasarani University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Faith is 34, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kasarani University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $650 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $260
• Transport to Kasarani University Hospital: $180
• Household costs while unable to work: $210
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Saint-Denis
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Córdoba.
Wishing you peace, Mercy. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from La Plata.
