Feed 390 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Mysuru
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Mysuru.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 15 families, and now we feed 390 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 47% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Mysuru market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $240
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $140
• Refrigeration and electricity: $20
Every share and every dollar helps.

Rooting for you, Maliha. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Wishing you the best, Maliha. This could happen to any of us. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Mysuru.
