Feed 389 families each week at Community Pantry in Miami
Benjamin runs a volunteer pantry feeding 389 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Wednesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 389 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 59% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Miami market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $3,800 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $2,000
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,150
• Baby formula and diapers: $440
• Refrigeration and electricity: $210
I hope life is good to you.
