Feed 388 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Houston
Help keep a free food pantry open for students and shift workers in Houston.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Monday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 388 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 54% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Houston market and keep every receipt.
Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $760
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $880
• Baby formula and diapers: $450
• Refrigeration and electricity: $410
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Sending love. Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Dhaka but we're thinking of you!
Rooting for you, Gerardo. More neighborhoods should do this. Wish I lived closer to London so I could bring a meal!
Stay strong. Shared this with my family. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
