Feed 386 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Bacolod
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Bacolod is running low just as demand rises; $200 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of a community center. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 386 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 53% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bacolod market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $200 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $95
• Baby formula and diapers: $65
• Refrigeration and electricity: $40
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Negros Occidental. I'll ask around and let you know.
your post was clear and honest. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Badagry.
Take care. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
Hope it all works out. Great idea, hope you get there. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Colorado Springs.
