Help keep a free food pantry open for families and seniors in Howrah.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Saturday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 265 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 54% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Howrah market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $250 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $115
• Baby formula and diapers: $85
• Refrigeration and electricity: $50

praying for you, Rahul. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Howrah.
it takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Juazeiro do Norte so I could bring a meal.
Thinking of you and your family, Rahul. Hope you get there. Don't give up
You're not alone. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
Hope you get there. After 23 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Nijmegen.
