Feed 250 families each week at the Thursday Table in Buffalo
The the Thursday Table pantry in Buffalo is running low just as demand rises; $2,950 will stock it for 7 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Friday from the back of a community center. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 250 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 47% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Buffalo market and keep every receipt.
Each $55 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $960
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,450
• Baby formula and diapers: $180
• Refrigeration and electricity: $360
