Feed 235 families each week at the Sunday Shelf in London
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in London is running low just as demand rises; $2,300 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Wednesday from the back of a community center. We started with 18 families, and now we feed 235 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 33% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the London market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $960
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $650
• Baby formula and diapers: $440
• Refrigeration and electricity: $250
