Feed 216 families each week at the Harvest Pantry in Nottingham
The the Harvest Pantry pantry in Nottingham is running low just as demand rises; $2,700 will stock it for 7 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Sunday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 216 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 35% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Nottingham market and keep every receipt.
Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,600
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $530
• Baby formula and diapers: $250
• Refrigeration and electricity: $320
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thanks for sharing this, Clara. Your post was clear and honest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Ho.
Rooting for you, Clara. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. We're a small family in Uppsala but we're thinking of you. Take care.
So sorry you're going through this. More neighborhoods should do this. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
I hope things turn around soon. Love from Mthatha.
