Ghassan runs a volunteer pantry feeding 208 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Friday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 21 families, and now we feed 208 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 44% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 8 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the 6th of October City market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $300 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $95
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $180
• Refrigeration and electricity: $25
With deep gratitude,
Ghassan

Hang in there. More neighborhoods should do this. Love from Ahmedabad.
