Víctor, my uncle, passed away on 28 November after a sudden heart attack. He was 74 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,350 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 11 December.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Víctor to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Funeral home services and casket: $3,050
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,700
• Transport of the deceased: $310
• Memorial gathering for the family: $290
