Farewell fund for Tim: help Saar's family in Amsterdam
Tim passed away on 23 August; we are raising $4,700 for a respectful funeral in Amsterdam.

Tim, my husband, passed away on 23 August after complications from pneumonia. He was 73 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 30 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Tim to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $4,700 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,700
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,550
• Transport of the deceased: $155
• Memorial gathering for the family: $295

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. funeral home services and casket comes first ($2,700) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
