Farewell fund for Sergei: help Viktoria's family in Kharkiv
After the sudden passing of Sergei, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.
🇺🇦 Ukraine1,061 views
Sergei, my husband, passed away on 2 August after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 68 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 17 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sergei to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $750 goes:
• Memorial gathering for the family: $45
• Funeral home services and casket: $560
• Transport of the deceased: $145
Thank you for reading my story.

Rooting for you. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Kharkiv.
thinking of you. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Kharkiv.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Viktoria?
Thank you. If you're in Kharkiv I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great.
Wishing you the best. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
