Saba, my wife, passed away on 28 July after complications from pneumonia. She was 90 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 12 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Saba to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Memorial gathering for the family: $55
• Funeral home services and casket: $390
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $105
