Farewell fund for Okan: help Derya's family in Istanbul
Derya lost her father suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $1,400.

Okan, my father, passed away on 29 April after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 68 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 19 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Okan to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $370
• Memorial gathering for the family: $105
• Funeral home services and casket: $925

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Derya.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. cemetery plot and burial fees comes first ($370) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
