Nasser, my father, passed away on 18 June after a sudden heart attack. He was 91 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,200 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 June. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Nasser to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Birmingham hospice. Where the $3,200 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $1,950 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $670 • Transport of the deceased: $280 • Memorial gathering for the family: $300 Please ask me anything in the questions section.
