Farewell fund for Juliana: help Vinícius's family in Duque de Caxias
After the sudden passing of Juliana, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Juliana, my wife, passed away on 22 September after a sudden heart attack. She was 36 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,500 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Juliana to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,150
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $240
• Transport of the deceased: $55
• Memorial gathering for the family: $55
I hope life is good to you.
- Vinícius

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Vinícius
Sure. The biggest one is funeral home services and casket, $1,150. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Duque de Caxias.
Stay strong, Vinícius. Shared this with my family. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Duque de Caxias.
Keep going, Vinícius. Hope this works out for you. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings
