Janet, my grandmother, passed away on 1 July after complications from pneumonia. She was 35 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 16 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Janet to have a dignified farewell.
