Farewell fund for Jan: help Fabian's family in Mannheim
After the sudden passing of Jan, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Jan, my grandfather, passed away on 18 September after a short illness. He was 53 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 28 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Jan to have a dignified farewell.

The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Funeral home services and casket: $2,000
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $810
• Transport of the deceased: $340
