Emilio, my father, passed away on 5 September after complications from pneumonia. He was 38 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 22 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Emilio to have a dignified farewell.
