Farewell fund for Emanuele: help Stefania's family in Brescia

Emanuele, my brother, passed away on 25 February after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 83 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 13 March.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Emanuele to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,250
• Transport of the deceased: $220
• Memorial gathering for the family: $280
