Farewell fund for Cooper: help Maya's family in Southampton
Maya lost her grandfather suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $3,450.

Cooper, my grandfather, passed away on 15 October after a stroke. He was 48 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 30 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Cooper to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $3,450 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,900
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $870
• Transport of the deceased: $360
• Memorial gathering for the family: $320
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
