Faith needs a full set of tools to reopen a bicycle repair shop
A bicycle repair shop in Manchester needs help replacing a full set of tools after a break-in.
🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom1,576 views
For six years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Manchester. In September, a break-in took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Initial stock: spare parts: $640
• Working capital for the first month: $340
• Shop repairs and licensing: $370
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Stay strong, Faith. Hope this works out for you. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money!
Good luck, Faith. Hope the shop reopens soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
hope it all works out, Faith. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Paarl
Hope it all works out, Faith. Hope this works out for you. Don't give up. Blessings
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Manchester.
