Emergency vet bill for Poppy in Islamabad
Poppy, Mehwish's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $150.

Poppy is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 11 August we rushed to the Islamabad Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $150.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Islamabad Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Poppy's recovery.
Where the $150 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $85
