Emergency vet bill for Finn in Derry
Finn, Clara's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $2,100.

Finn is my rabbit of thirteen years. On 13 June we rushed to Derry Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,100.
They have stabilized Finn, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Finn is more than a pet - Finn is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $115 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Derry Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,100 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,300
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $390
• Medication and follow-up visits: $110
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $300
Thank you so much.
- Clara

Sending good thoughts, Clara. Hope you get there. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
wishing you peace, Clara. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Marseille this morning.
Take care. Give Finn a hug from me. My husband and I read this together.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Makati.
Poor Finn, hope they feel better soon.
shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Derry
