Emergency vet bill for Archie in Ciudad de México
Archie, Beatriz's three-legged dog, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $500.

Archie is my three-legged dog of six years. On 4 June we rushed to Ciudad de México Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Archie is more than a pet - Archie is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Ciudad de México Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $270
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $100
• Medication and follow-up visits: $50
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $80

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. emergency surgery comes first ($270) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
