Elena's final semester of an accounting degree in Milan

Elena is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an accounting degree at Milan Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,200. The registrar has said Elena can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Elena has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Elena would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Elena isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $1,200 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $820 • Textbooks and materials: $270 • Exam and lab fees: $110 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Cristina
