Ebru's final semester of a pharmacy diploma in Üsküdar
Ebru is one term away from finishing a pharmacy diploma but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $1,350.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a pharmacy diploma at Üsküdar Community College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,350.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $670
• Final term tuition: $580
• Exam and lab fees: $45
• Textbooks and materials: $55

Sending good thoughts, Ebru. Hope you get there. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Stay strong. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Athens
praying for you, Ebru. Your post was clear and honest.
Wishing you peace, Ebru. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out.
