The electricity and water account is 3 months behind. Zulkifli received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Zulkifli called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Zulkifli is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
