The water account is 4 months behind. Wekesa received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before my partner leaving the household. Wekesa called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available. The household includes three children under ten, and going through the cold months without water isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
