Don't let Vivaan's family go through the cold months without electricity
Vivaan is behind on electricity bills after a reduction in hours and needs $100 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. Vivaan received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Vivaan called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Vivaan is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $100 goes:
• Water arrears: $65
• Reconnection and late fees: $25
• Down payment on a payment plan: $10
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I hope September is when things finally get easier.
Thinking of you and your family, Yash. Looking forward to the next update. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Negombo.
Wishing you the best, Yash. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless
Stay strong, Yash. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
