The gas account is 4 months behind. Suhas received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before a reduction in hours. Suhas called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available. The household includes a disabled brother, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
