The water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless I pay $150. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $45 first, which I don't have. I live with an elderly mother, and going through winter without water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Ramón's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $150 goes: • Water arrears: $60 • Reconnection and late fees: $25 • Down payment on a payment plan: $65 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Ramón

Updates from Ramón

  1. Thank you all. We're at 14% now ($21). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward reconnection and late fees.

  2. 11% there. I made the first payment toward down payment on a payment plan. Thank you.
