The heating account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $150. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which I don't have.
I live with a newborn, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Novi's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $150 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $80
• Reconnection and late fees: $30
• Down payment on a payment plan: $40
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending good thoughts. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Edinburgh.
